Despite of always being a troublesome guy he cares for the people surrounding him. He likes to help people in need, he remembers all those times he would bring stray animals back home and when he shared his food with a pauper outside the school. Also he won't pick up a fight or prank the little boy with glasses, no, he would go and bully the tall guy with a very build up body even when he has to run for his life later. Kenai has a hard time when it comes to trust people and to make meaningful decisions in his life, his insecureness can go to also make him shy sometimes. Even though he can have a massive run for his life and rides a bike to deliver the orders of pizza all around the city, he is very lazy to make more work than that, it takes a lot of time to get him out of the bed. Now Kenai doesn't really know if his honestity is a good thing or bad thing. He doesn't know how to lie to make someone feel better; if the chick is fast, she is fast and that's how he'll say it.
The user is allowed to see the soul/spirit/life flame of the living beings surrounding him from a range of a mile away inside the heat zones. When using this ability the environment color turns into different shades of grey and black, the only colors to be seen are the ones of the flames. If the case of another person with an eye ability appears on his sight range the imgae in that spot gets distorted and it's unable to see the other normal human's flames there. After approximately 5-10 minutes an intense headache starts to appear making the nose and ears bleed. Temporal blindness or a slight blur can be presented if used too much and in worst cases memory losss.
Sheryl a middle school teacher and Bryan a policeman, a young couple that got married in their early 20’s back in Alaska conceived Kenai. After two years of marriage Kenai was born between the now unstable family. His father became an alcoholic and would rarely be home; if he wasn’t working, he would be drunk over the tables of a cheap bar. But when Scott was home he would yell to Sheryl and sometimes hit her. Seeing this, Kenai followed his father’s attitude, becoming a very troublesome kid on his elementary school years. From beating classmates to insulting teachers, Kenai was expelled from various schools and to cause the security to almost take him away from his family. At the age of 10 all his father’s belongings disappeared and Scott hasn’t been seen again since then. Before entering middle school Sheryl decided to move the remnants of her family to Texas, where Kenai developed his passion for horses, instruments and music. There he learned to play the bass and the drums, also understood the many mistakes he made as a kid but that didn’t kept him from getting into trouble every now and then. His mother was rarely at home working hardly to make some money, leaving her son to the care of her cousins. Randy and John, a mechanic and a cowboy, that lead Kenai into no good. They would basically let him do and experiment into whatever he felt curiosity on. With the friends he made along those years his little pranks and adventures would get worse day by day.
At 16 his mother got married again with a rich businessman that took them to the city. Kenai wasn’t happy with this and made poor Dilan’s life a living hell while he was home; he would argue with his mother and leave the house for a couple of hours to mess thing up around the city: prank some bikers, create a fight in the corners of the street, vandalize buildings and sometimes get into abandoned places around the border lines of the city to destroy useless stuff there to relieve his anger… But in the end, he would regret making his mother go through all this again. Kenai hates being the same way that Scott was. There were times when he would wake up in such lonely places without remembering anything that happened, only seeing people being burned alive but it always seemed like they didn’t noticed the fire surrounding them. A horrible headache would accompany a slight stinging pain in the back of his eyes. One night, Dilan and Sheryl started to argue with Kenai after picking him up from practice when they got notice of the school principal about him insult a teacher, after that bringing alcohol to the institution and share it with other students in the male bathrooms of the gym. Saying Dilan had no right to talk to him like he was his father he tried to shut him up by slightly hitting his stepfather in the head, which made him loose control of the car and go down to an intercemption. With the impact of a bus Sheryl was expulsed from the car and ended up on the pavement. Dilan promised on Sheery's grave that he would take care of her son and try to get in his good side.
After getting out of the funeral and heading into the ghost like side of the city he couldn't help but let the tears burst out of his eyes as he walked between the buildings. "It's all my fault... I killed my mother." He kept repeating to himself before noticing a slight change in the place. He could sware that before he set road towards here the sun was already setting but here it looked like it was still noon. Taking his phone out Kenai tried to check what time it was but the screen didn't turned on. Dead was the first thought on his head when suddenly a person surrounded by fire walked by from, what seemed, a mile away. Kenai stood there panicked as more people started to appear in his line of sight, suddenly his head started to ache followed by blood on his nose. Scared by this he started to run trying to ignore what he was seeing and what was happening. He was sure he dreamt about this various times while at the hospital and all those time he woke up in those abandoned building around the area but this was really happening.
